The program will allow students to gain the theoretical knowledge and communication skills linked to working in context of a career in nutritional consultancy, aligned with a Pediatrics / Early Childhood Development focus.

There is no other time in life when the provision of adequate and balanced nutrition is of greater importance than during infancy and early childhood.

Nutrition consultants support the delivery of comprehensive, high quality nutrition programs to groups (which may be businesses, families, community groups and other organizations) or individuals. They also provide guidance, training and technical assistance. Their services may be contracted by schools, businesses (for employees wellness programs), food manufacturers, families and other clients.

Nutritional consultants with a specialty in pediatrics and early childhood development may offer related services to families.

TESOL

Program Description:
This 120 hours TESOL Program will be designed for those who wish to pursue a career in English as a Second Language teaching. The goal of the TESOL Certification program is to recruit passionate individuals who have a commitment to the English Language Training, both here and abroad. This course is designed for individuals who are either currently teaching ELL (English Language Learners) or for those wish to enter the English language teaching field. It gives students the necessary skills in classroom management, lesson planning and a variety of teaching methods.
Many of our planned programs will have work experiences components which will provides the student with a supervised learning experience and a period of real world engagement, observation and further study, in order to bring together the theory and practice.
Canada Royal Northville College (CRNC) is BC TEAL Supporting Institutions, and is taught by experienced and credentialed team of teachers. Students are prepared for teaching Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening, Grammar and Presentation skills. Students also participate in seminars to discuss topics such as classroom management, matching learning outcomes to activities, conducting assessments and developing a teaching style of their own. Students will leave the program with a portfolio of lesson plans and activities they have organized.

CRNC Refund Policy

If a student decides to withdraw from a program, he/she must provide a dated, written, notice of withdrawal to Canada Royal Northville College. Refunds are calculated according to CRNC’s Tuition Refund Policy and the date on which the written notice of withdrawal is received will be used to determine any refund owing.

Before program start date, Canada Royal Northville College receives a notice of withdrawal (applies to all students)

Circumstances when Refund Payable & Amount of Refund

  1. No later than seven days after student signed the enrolment contract, and Before the program start date. 100% tuition and all related fees, other than application fee. Related fees include: administrative fees, application fees, assessment fees, and fees charged for textbooks or other course materials.

  2. At least 30 days before the later of:a) The program start date in the most recent Letter of Acceptance (international students)b) The program start date in the enrolment contract. CRNC may retain up to 10% of tuition, to a maximum of $1,000. CRNC must refund fees paid for course materials if not provided to the student.

  3. More than seven days after the student and CRNC signed the enrolment contract, and• Less than 30 days before the later of: a) The program start date in the most recent Letter of Acceptance (international students)b) The program start date in the enrolment contract. CRNC may retain up to 20% of tuition, to a maximum of $1,300. CRNC must refund fees paid for course materials if not provided to the student.

  4. After the program start date, and up to and including 10% of instruction hours have been provided. CRNC may retain up to 30% of tuition. CRNC must refund fees paid for course materials if not provided to the student.

  5. After the program start date, and after more than 10%, but before 30% of instruction hours, have been provided. CRNC may retain up to 50% of tuition. CRNC must refund fees paid for course materials if not provided to the student.

CRNC must pay the tuition or fee refund within 30 days after receiving notice of withdrawal or refusal of study permit; providing a notice of dismissal, or the date on which the first 30% of the hours of instruction are provided (no-show).
